Addyson is 6 Months Old!

Addyson didn't let us down, giving us another smiley 6 month session! I love the way the bright red Christmas dress that Mom and Dad brought for her pops against the white backdrop.

Thanks guys, we're definitely looking forward to seeing you again in 3 months! :)

Children Session: Jongsma Family

Yesterday Lisa brought in her two absolutely adorable children. We met them this past weekend at the Holland Sentinel Holiday Expo and they took us up on our offer there for a free indoor session and 6 free proofs (who can say no to free stuff??)

Also, check out below for one of our many custom designed Christmas cards! Right now we're offering them for $1 a piece with a minimum order of 25. Order soon and get those cards out before the holiday rush!

Senior Session: Harthun

And here we are with the second of our senior sessions from this past Saturday. Let me tell you, it feels SOOO good being caught up on our proofing! :)

We did another wall walk-- only it had gotten colder and more windy. I thought I was the queen of blinking, but nope.... ha ha, only kidding guys! I don't know how these girls did it with no coats today! BRRRRR!

This one is my favorite from the session-- love her expression and her eyes!

Senior Session: Ramona

Yesterday was an incredibly busy day for us-- we started our day by having a booth at the Holland Sentinel Holiday Expo (thanks everyone for stopping by and talking with us-- we look forward to having the opportunity to work with you!) We then rushed back to the studio to photograph the first of two senior sessions. Ramona and family drove all the way from South Haven for her session.

We started with our "wall walk." With about 5 different textured walls within walking distance of our studio, it is easily my new favorite place to photograph seniors outdoors.

Next, we went back to the studio for some indoor shots.

Thank you to Ramona and your mother (and little sis!) for visiting us!

Phillip's 6 Month Session

I've said it before and I'll say it again-- I LOVE 6 month old babies! They're happy and chunky and cute and best of all.....SMILEY! Mom thought that Phillip here was "sober" for his session, but I'd definitely have to disagree!

Our 6 year old daughter has decided that she too would like to be a photographer when she grows up. So occasionally we put her in front of the camera - on the job training! I love this picture that Abbie took of little Phillip next to the tub! It's one of my favorites from the entire session!

Lee Family Session

What a cutie pie little Damien is! He's 1 year old and a huge bundle of energy! Oh, to be able to tap into that now and again! :)

The whole family came in for some family portraits and also for 1 year pics of the birthday boy!

Children Session: Parker Family

We first met the Parker family when we photographed school portraits for Appletree Learning Centers. We then ran into mom, Amy, at the Holland Sentinel Women's expo where we had a booth. She signed up for the free session we were offering and here is the result -- some gorgeous holiday portraits of the kids!

(Side note: the Holland Sentinel is putting on another expo TOMORROW - November 15th - at the Civic Center here in Holland. Stop by our booth and schedule a Free Indoor Session with 6 Free proofs! Just in time for Christmas/Holiday portraits....hint, hint, hint! :) )

The frame pics are my favorite-- they both look so happy in them!

Sneak Peek: Jen & Jeremy Wedding

What do you get when you cross a groom from Ohio and a bride from Michigan? Apparently, a huge football rivalry that somehow goes above and beyond that!

Jen and Jeremy were married here in downtown Holland on Hope College's campus at what I think might be the most beautiful church in the area. The floors are incredible (love the black and white tiles) but what really did it for me are the stained glass windows.

Here you go guys, enjoy your sneak peek!

See what I mean about the rivalry?? From the very beginning, I could tell this was going to get interesting as Jen showed me the "special" garter belt she had in store for Jeremy! Ha ha-- I loved it!

Sneak Peek: Emily 6 Months

I love shooting 6 month pictures. I don't know if we've been really lucky or what-- but we've been getting the greatest smiles and shots from 6 month old babies lately.

And Emily is no exception! This little one is crawling already which made things all the more interesting, but look at those smiles!!

I love this one!!

Can't wait to see you guys back in 3 months! Enjoy your sneak peek!
