The Browlee Family

Jill walked into the studio with her children and dog and simply stated, "I want something that's not traditional." We suggested skipping the indoor session she had originally scheduled and head outside instead -- as long as the weather is good (and you couldn't have asked for a better November day!) everyone seems to have a lot more fun outside.

And fun we did have! This family was a riot! I had a hard time picking out a handful of my favorites because there were a ton that I loved, but here they are -- Enjoy!

Albin Family Session

This past weekend I found myself manning the studio alone! Typically both Jason and myself shoot-- especially for sessions with children it's a lot easier and smoother for everyone involved. However our little one has been sick-sick-sick and with Friday and Saturday looming ever closer we knew that one of us would have to stay home.

I typically photograph a lot for weddings and seniors, but usually in the studio (especially during the winter) I find myself posing more than shooting. Let me say, it was SOOOOO refreshing to get back behind the camera again! It's so nice to have a job that I love!

The first session of the day was a family session who brought along with them by far the LARGEST dog I have ever photographed.

I was so impressed with how well behaved he was too! The whole session was a hoot trying to get him to "pose" for us!

What a cutie pie little Damien is! He's 1 year old and a huge bundle of energy! Oh, to be able to tap into that now and again! :)

Sneak Peek: VanDenBerg Family

We had the pleasure of photographing the VanDenBerg family this week at the Holland State Park. The weather was a tad bit on the cool side-- a nice change from the humid heat we've been having the last several weeks!

The two youngest granddaughters were both gymnasts, but I think the older two might give them a run for there money based on this picture!
